Do they really make profits? or just math tricks?

after getting listed, i guess they would have to show profits lol. still hard to believe that 45% of upi transactions happen in their super awful app.

i have switched to phone pe permanently

upi lite rules allow linking 1 bank per app so switched to PhonePe to link my expense account. And Paytm stopped allowing custom upi id so had to switch, Google Pay is unusable.

Custom upi id alone is a very good reason imo.

The app is okayish I mean we need app for few things only scan, load upi lite and sometimes get upi qr code.

i see the whole page full of ads after a transaction on PhonePe on dad's phone. that's just a big no for me.

i also disabled my number for receiving payments on Amazon pay. not sure if it worked. but that's good enough for me. i just use alphanumeric vpas to accept payments.

Had to reinstall PhonePe on someone's phone. It auto ticks the credit report permission at first step, then when activating upi it again tricks you into giving permission for checking sms for bills, assess your credit limit, again retrieve credit report and something else too.
