Principle photography began yesterday on the fifth entry in the extremely popular Pirates franchise, titled Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Filming on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales began February 17th, on location in Australia in Queensland under Norwegian directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg with a screenplay by Jeff Nathanson (Catch Me If You Can, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Tower Heist). Johnny Depp is back as Captain Jack Sparrow and joining him are Javier Bardem, Geoffrey Rush, Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent) and Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner) among many others.
