just came back from this movie... one thing is for sure... you would change your perception about mermaids. if you have one.

The movie is ok. my expectation was more. For me the best one is the 3rd part

I liked the movie ... penelope cruz is far better than keira knightley. Also the whole movie was fast paced and very entertaining. The only sore point was that i watched it in 3D ....which made the scenes quite dark and gloomy ....should have seen it in 2D in hindsight

hehe. i have a headache till now. i took off the glasses through most of the scenes which looked fine without the glasses. i always decide to go for the 2D version after watching a 3D version... but end up going for 3D anyways. i bet you enjoyed the scenes where the dudes pointed their swords right towards us!

I have resolved NOT to go for 3D movies after this one !

You appreciate the good 3D effects for total 5-10 minutes in the whole movie (like the one scene you mentioned) ...but it makes watching the other 120 minutes such a pain.

Maybe it was the shitty 3D glasses they give in the PVR here ...or the movie itself ....but it was much more brighter and colorful without the glasses
My wife watched half the movie without the glasses ...in hindsight ...i should have done the same.

ah. luckily the glasses pvr now gives here in gurgaon are of much better quality. earlier ones were very bad.

The movie was not at all good compared to the previous ones. Man I decided to watch this once more when the DVD's are available, with subtitles. Anyway, the mermaid was good... One more thing, realised that 3D will not have any effects when most of the movie is in dark.

heh yeah. i am so used to watching movies and television shows with subtitles on television these days that watching movies in theaters has become sort of complicated.
