The movie was not at all good compared to the previous ones. Man I decided to watch this once more when the DVD's are available, with subtitles.

heh yeah. i am so used to watching movies and television shows with subtitles on television these days that watching movies in theaters has become sort of complicated.

huh......here in Chennai for the past 1 year major theatre/multiplex made the English subtitles mandatory with Hollywood movies. Peoples who were good(peter) in english are annoyed with it but most of us are benefited. From your posts i understood that this feature was not carried out across the country.

Yep, I need subtitles too..not that i cant understand otherwise, but subtitles help when a person is speaking very fast.And esp. this Jack Sparrow!! He speaks every word with twisted tongue!

heh yeah. pirates english is a mixture of a lot of dialects. pirate talk is already hard to understand and this they had british accent in this one.

I doubt it, the novelty has pretty much worn off, and this last one was a huge let-down, caught it on letmewatchthis.com..couldn't even sit through the whole movie.

if the novelty has worn off, the fourth movie would not have been making a billion dollars in revenue. people would watch anything these days.
