Hey all,Lately I've been having major problems with my MTNL connection, its not working most of the time and its freakin pissing off. Anyway, so I'm planning to change to Airtel broadband, but I'm having problems trying to convince my dad, since hes all like, theres not much difference between the both and he having worked in the Central Govt. is in big favor of sticking with the govt. service. Can someone give me some good points that I can argue with my dad on?! It'd be much appreciated!! :D And can I by any chance use my MTNL ADSL Modem/Router with Airtel? I'd save on the Rs.500/- they charge for the modem! Thanks in advance,Sibot

1) Hardly any downtime. Maybe once or twice in the whole year. But resolved quickly.2) Whenever there is a problem (landline or broadband) they respond the same day.3) No billing related problems.4) Customer care will send someone to collect the payment.5) Better hardware.

airtel generally solves the problem within four hours of reporting on a working day.
