Portal ID

I got too got my 14 digit portal id and initially confused with it.

I was login through Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.- India's No. 1 Telecommunications Company and Dataone WebMail but neith sites were able to recognize me Then I asked one of friend and he suggest me the portal http://bbservice.bsnl.in and at last that worked :yahoo:

But wtf ! When I saw my profile thay have entered all wrong info into my profile data :wall: including my name. Initially i too also surprised by getting such a login id for dial-up which was diff from my name.

Can I tell them to change my user id and update my profile data properly ? And in FF the site http://bbservice.bsnl.in gives error. So we can only check with IE

Again, what is my FREE email id? Where I have to login ?

mate thats a problem with the portal.. seeing a different name etc.. many users have complained about this..

(BTW the black entry is my usage for June :1026MB shown by Datafox) Only 2 MB extra used. Daily the usage appears in the status bar . )
In website Dataone WebMail you have to use the new webmail page.
Same UserID and password . ( use without @ bsnl.in or with @ bsnl.in)
14digitportal ID and Pasword. to check usage and change UserID's password.
I don't think you can change your USERID once allotted. ( Not tried )

Got the problem solved.I just went to the exchange, called the CC from there and made the SDO talk to the CC...:evil: .I dont know what did the CC person say to the SDO but his face was not looking good after the talk. :hysterical::evil:
