The test was done using Nokia g-2425g-a on Airtel fiber
So it's essentially 2 Ethernet cable connected from my ONT to desktop, each link (Ethernet) providing full 1 gigabit speed.
One link is static IP and other one is PPPoE
@Rehan Kumar What's the Plan from your ISP? Assuming from speedtest result that it's Airtel, Doesn't airtel only offer upto gigabit speeds? How are you getting 2gbps then?
As to why I am paying such an amount is because I was having weird routing issues with my old Nokia g140w-f connection, I tried way too many things to solve the issue along with which I got to know few bugs and flaws with their system.
@WandereR I am currently not using anything to load balance them, windows automatically does some very basic load balancing, I have no use for speeds like this so didn't bother to load balance them properly
Hardware based load balancing is extremely expensive for anything greater than 1 Gbps combined.
Maybe not for something extreme like this but I did think about using a VPN like wireguard to achieve something like multipath TCP using customised routing, I mostly feel like shit most of time so didn't had the energy to try to do it.
