Postpaid suggestion for 4 users?

Yeah, Airtel also uses cgnat. I think it's a bit better than jio? As in, Connections don't die so quickly?

Ok, I never had connection or service issues with VI and their rep take the calls instantly as well.
I just wish they had better wireless infra. Never really cared about bandiwidth as anything above 8Mb is good.

Cellular to Tower takes 40ms, it is another 90ms to reach an IP that has Airtel or Tata transit that is located in the same city. Rouding up to 120-150ms average.
My server in Singapore maxes out at 80ms overall, so not sure what is at play.

I'd recommend to try jio with prepaid sim too before making the switch.

Ok, I tried Jio. It is routing via Vodafone.
Latency to tower is lower than Vodafone but higher than Airtel.
I am only testing LTE since that is what I am expecting to use as soon as I leave the region surrounding Metro cities.

In my experience Airtel's support is better, Jio's is non-existent read it as ineffective. They had a take it or leave it attitude. I use both on postpaid, the Airtel is a single connection and Jio with the 999 200G/mth family plan. As they say in Hindi dono mein 'unnees bees ka farak hai"

If you were to select it on network performance it will probably differ from city to city and area to area. Coverage wise I think they're more or less evenly matched. I am just hazarding a guess here but I think Airtel will be better.

Jio's NAT64 thingy gives issues from time to time. I use AWS workspaces (uses PCoIP) for my work over Jio 5G postpaid mobile hotspot (Mumbai Circle, roaming in West Bengal) when there is a power cut at home. Sometimes (not always), it just won't connect to my AWS workspace's TCP/ UDP ports. I have tried troubleshooting the issue/ used Google and Cloudflare's DNS64 service, but nothing helps. Even IPv4-only VPNs to AWS Mumbai don't work then. It works fine if I open an Ipv4-only website using its domain name. I never encountered this issue in Mumbai (maybe because power cuts are virtually non-existent; I rarely use Jio 5G/ 4G in Mumbai).

Surprisingly, my mom's Jio5G (Prepaid West Bengal) used to work fine. So, I did not bother to look into the issue. At first, I thought it had something to do with roaming until my mom's connection gave me the same problem one fine day. I switched to my Jio 5G hotspot. Lo and behold, it started to work just fine!

I had dropped an email to Jio describing this issue but never heard back. If reliability over IPv4 is a priority, I suggest you go with Airtel Postpaid.

During the process, I decided against it. Going to stick to Vodafone.

Primary User get 150GB, while each add-on gets 30GB... The rep was unsure if add-on gets a separate rollover benefit too. (This is true for Vodafone)
My main reason to break-away was post consumption of allotted data, there is a data charge of 2p/MB and this cannot be stopped or disabled.
Add-on users are unable to make calls that will be chargeable. (ex. international calls)

Meanwhile, Vodafone has decided to extend Prime Free for an additional 6 months.
I did not ask them for this, nor I talked to them at all during the porting process.

@Lolita_Magnum All the users can use all the data from the common pool. The additional data is an added bonus that you don't get in other operators. For every additional user you get 30GB added to the pool. You can also add more users for 299 extra per connection. So for your plan you will get 150+30+30+30 = 240GB of data for everyone to use.
