Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

Just curious... what is meaning of title? Perhaps some Rajasthani words I guess.
 
Its hindi derived from song "Paayoji maine Ram ratan dhan payo".

But here I think in movie it could be names of 3 different persons (brothers)

Movie could be something similar to Hum saath saath hain or Om Jai Jagdish?

PS: Just guessing!

Yes but who else is well-known in movie who can give him "takkar"?
 
I don't see anyone named as dhan or payo :/

Jaani dushman armaan kohli will give takkar to salman. After all he gave takkar to about 20 heroes in that movie

Prem, Ratan and Dhan are names. Payo is not name! :P
 
I have seen dhanashekhar and dhanalakshmi down south. But cannot remember names with dhan up north. Dhanraj perhaps? But can't remember dhan being used as nickname. Dhanno is nickname for?

I will negate from movie by saying that song lyrics actually has - dhan bhi jhootha. Prem ratan paya.

Unless it was a symbolic dig at one of the three brothers :/
 
God knows.. I am just guessing.

There are many names start with Dhan. Dhanji, Dhankuvar are some other names. I think movie is based on Gujarat or Rajasthan? Where such royal names were popular in early times.
