Prepaid or Postpaid mobile connection?

Prepaid or Postpaid mobile connection?What do you prefer?Since I started using mobile, for very short period I used Postpaid connection. After that from last 6-7 years of mobile usage I have never used Postpaid connection (in India).Reason - no clarity of billing, no control over usage, lack of many services active by default (roaming, internet).Apart from me, I have seen many people troubled by their postpaid connection.

I tried to search any such thread, but couldn't find. If such discussion exists, it would be better if this thread is merged there, along with the poll

I prefer postpaid, but use prepaid, simply because my extremely low usage doesn't have a proper fit in the postpaid world. I loved postpaid while I was on it, as I had a wonderful plan with zero rental, but now I don't have the option of such a plan, so I switched to prepaid. I hate the hassle of having to recharge, even if I do it only once in a while.
