300Rs for haircut?!!

I remember petrol being 13Rs and Diesel 8Rs.

I remember rickshaw fare to be 2.60Rs.

I remember local calls at 50p using public booth.

I also remember bus fare being 50p

Yes this one is funny and weird, I remember Sensex index being 3000 and ppl saying wow its so much, and now even at 10000 ppl are saying mkt is down LOL

Nostalgia struck ...and i remember we used to have a stopwatch to meter the STD calls we used to make .. And used to make the STD calls after 9 PM ... and on National holidays .. 26 Jan, 15 Aug and 2 Oct as on these days it was half rate for the entire day. and now we talk for Hrs on Mobile STD and Skype.BTW .. I remember when Mobile was first introduced .. i think in 1996-97 it used to cost around Rs22 for Outgoing and 18 for Incoming ... cant believe what the rates have become now.

Oh yes, I remember standing in queue for making STD call at around 8:45PM. My dad wud ask us to stand so he can do other work and then reach when my turn in queue wud come.

It used to cost 1Re per 8 second or so.

yes, the saloon i visit takes 300 rs for haircut. Some other i know can take any where between 1200- 2000.

Ha, too much. I still pay just 30Rs. Just normal haircut. No style or color.

hair cut? i remember paying 10 for them. now its 25 for me.

Haircut ,it is Rs30.shaving(though I rarely visit barber shops/parlours) it is Rs15.

I remember petrol from 27. I remember my school vada-pav, which i still think is best in world and costed me 2.50 rs. Also i remember how much pain and efforts i used to take to gather those 2.50 rs so that i can eat that vada pav at least once in week. I could not afford eating daily. And now are the days , i pay 300 rs for haircut.
