I have a few queries,
1)what is the usual speed you get while being directly plugged into the pc/laptop-
A) without an extension cable.
B) with an extension cable.

2)does the TP-Link 3020/3420 connect while using an extension cable?
If yes,
A) what speed do you achieve with the extension cable
B) without the cable.
P. S. All the tests must be taken at d same spot to ensure equality n approximately same part of d day.
Also I have remained reluctant to go for 3020 since it doesn't seem to have any external antennas and seemed pretty much basic.
Also since this week it hs been re priced over 1.6k now (costlier than 3220). It previously was retailing around 1200~.
Haven't got an extension cable yet, planning to buy one. Will test and post the results here.

Today is a great day! Speedtest.net app on my nexus 7 shows 104.3 kB/s DL and 22.4 KB/s UL speed when connected through MR-3420 (without the ext cable). Have ordered wn822n wireless adapter, planning to use its ext cable when it arrives

@harsh could you explain what purpose wn822n wireless adapter serves? I was hoping the Mr 3420 by itself was capable of decent signal coverage with dual antennas?

@krishnan.
I have a prithvi ue 100 and ZTE ac 2766. For prithvi only 0.5m cable works whereas for ZTE 1.5m cabke works. No idea why.
I read on the Web that prithvi modem doesn't have enough power supply to work across a longer extension cable.
Why not u try a smaller cable ?
