hello!I have been using BSNL Dataone for almost over a month now on zxdsl 531B modem. I have recently started to face the problem of not being able to access yahoo mail on my broadband connection. when i connect using a dial up, it allows me to access the mail. Broadband only opens the login page for yahoo mail and when i enter my user name and password, it shows server not found. I have tried with IE and Firefox, both fail to log me in. I contacted the person concerned at the BSNL office and he asked me to reset my modem but the modem I am using doesn't have the option of reset button on it. The modem is navy blue in colour and not the blue one. Kindly help!PS: The other yahoo pages open with text only, no graphics displayed. But when i access it at my friends', i'm able to see the graphics and access my mail.

suggestion :
Try
1.Yahoo! Messenger for the Web
no graphics displayed
Download Flash Player for both IE and FF.
2. Use OPENDNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
.....in TCP/IP properties

thank you for replying. The webmessenger doesn't display anything even after installing the flash player. And where do i find the DNS settings? I am sorry I am not very good at computers:(I have sorted out the problem using the DNS settings, thank you!

start-control panel-network connections- right click on my Local area connection .. click on properties.. then you will find tcp/ip properties.. click there and you should find a place to insert DNS ips
