Here is the screen-shot of the data. There is no change during the day or night. So, I have linked the night-time data.

Please let me know what the problem is. Hope it is good! Thanks

Most of the BSNL users do face same problem during free hours, even i was facing the same, i tried tcp/ip optimizer to tweak the connection, and also changed the connection from LAN to USB. I tried this coz i always doubted dat ma LAN was causing the problem.Well dunno whether its coz of the software/USB/BSNL now i don get frequent disconnection and do get more than 3 GB dure free hours in torrents !! :yahoo:so u too try the same.. most probably it'l b fixed in another 2-3 weeks coz BSNL ppl are working on the servers to implement IPTV and also i heard they are upgrading our connections to 8 Mbps

is this from day or night?
Attenuation is way too high.
Check by disconnecting your phones, see if that reduces Attenuation.
Also make sure your RJ-11 cable isn't more that 6ft or 2m (between modem and splitter. When you disconnect your phones try connecting modem directly without a splitter. Check the stats after this.
follow this link as your guide. SNR Margin ?? If the attenuation comes down then try the same setup at night to check.

try connecting modem directly without a splitter
Not advisable.
nor a physical line problem since it is OK during the day-time.
there is no change during the day or night.
In Advanced Adsl settings
select Multimode ( usually G DMT)
Check whether T413 or adsl2 appears in system page.
and EC/FDM FDM
Bitswap enabled
Recheck SNR and ATTN data. Any improvement ?

Why is it not advisable essbebe?
Are you aware that a lot of phone sets with voice correction and signal boost actually interfere with DSL data signals?
Attenuation so high during day too. So one can't negate that possibility
Mind you, problems relating to sync are always troubleshot by 1st checking the physical setup.
:)

I tried using USB or direct line connection to modem. There is no change in the data.
@essbebe
Even after selecting Multimode, FDM and bitswap enabled ....
and rebooting

Operation mode - G.Dmt (-does this mean Multimode is not enabled?)
SNR up/down - 10/16 dB
Attn up/down - 31/57 dB

By direct connect i assume you removed the parallel phones and the splitter correct? Now how long is you phone cable RJ-11 from the wall jack.(Make sure its not more than 6 feet.)Also is there internal phone wiring in your house for paralel connection?:)

:)

Yes, without any splitter. The land-line was without connection for the test-time.

RJ-11 is less than 3 feet.

No, there is no other parallel phone lines. The cordless has 4 different handsets placed in different rooms.

You have a some line hardware related fault from all i can assume.now when u went through the steps essbebe gave you did you disable GDMT and try some other modulation instead. If not then try toggling b/w them (make sure only one is active at one time) and check the line stats. Now your RJ-11 cable as looks alright, but can you still try cable which is of std length 6ft usually they come with the phone. Check the stats after each step. try to find the setup which gives you least attenuation and then try that setup at night. If stil no good results complain to BSNL, the problem will definitely be on the lines outside your house.:)
