probably yes or maybe its just the typical indian govt website not running thing

nope. some government websites intentionally block international traffic which cause problems for folks outside india who might need to access these government portals. i am guessing this is why @Lolita_Magnum was asking for this.

I switched to ProtonVPN from AzireVPN a while ago. It has been fine. I mostly use it on CLI on Pi to run torrents 24x7 and I get decent speeds on it. I also run it full time currently in Chrome excluding a growing number of websites which are best run directly. And again, it works fine. I do not like their new app UI on Windows which is why I switched to browser extension. It is pricey coz we are currently paying it per month mostly because of ever changing government regulations. Might switch to yearly when they announce their next sale. Decided to skip the recent sale they had.

Yes. I am currently running an RPI4 as a Wireguard VPN gateway to access Indian government portals.
Problem is, because I do not have a public IP at home, I had to use a double VPN method which is not very stable.
Zerotier and other similar options are a hit or miss, with mostly misses.

Don't have it anymore, parents sold it. :ROFLMAO:
Even if I did, kinda feels wrong asking them to turn it on every single time I might have something to check.
Plus, to mind the time difference, is another load.

wow i didnt think they would intentionally block non Indian ip

maybe its the govt's push to ban people from leaving the best country in Andromeda Galaxy
