I am analyizing my weblogs for my website and I see entries like hyd-cdma.vsnl.net.in as the client name.

[*]Does this mean that the user is browsing my site using a wireless connection?
[*]Does this mean he is connected from Hyderabad or can he connect from anywhere in India and it would still show the hyd-cdma.vsnl.net.in suffix in the domain name
[/list]Thanks
Vinod

As for your question, CDMA phones do have capability to show internet webpages, so yeah, your guess is right. And he is probably connected through the hyderabad server.

Hi Slash, Thanks for the response. (Sorry for the multiple post)When you say my guess is right do you mean to say that the user can be dialling in from anywhere in India?

No he is calling up from Hyderabad for sure.

So if the user where to dial in from Bangalore or delhi it would say blr-cdma.vsnl.net.in or dlh-cdma.vsnl.net.in, even though he has his number registered in say, hyderabad.? Thanks for your timeVinod
