Rate increased of Sport Platinum pack

I think its High time trai intervene, court shud vacate the stay given to the TRAI ruling, They need to get a shock, ESPN has not even abiding by TRAI orders about pricing and distrubution:evil:. They have been delaying giving signals to SUN direct even after trai intrevening. Its high time they get a shock treatment.
I dont understand why ESS is not giving their channel price for 1/2 rate to the cable to DTH service provider..........

Certainly some action needs to be taken on ESS..............they are just creating a monopoly in the sports channels market.......thats 1 reason i some times feel that its always better that some cricket rights should got to other sports channels......

I think now every DTH service prodider will hike their sports channels pack............

Yesterday or day before yesterday TDSAT has asked ESS to give their feed to SD in 1 week time and i think ESS might charge the same price to SD too............:madness:.

I dont think ESS is to be blamed.. Airtel still gives them @ 45/mnth

Lets wait and watch on their increase of that pack and then it will be a shocker for them too:O........... Its simple now day by day now the cost of the packages are increasing in DTH no matter whether it is Dish tv or TS or SD or Big TV or Airtel.........

Why sports channels are too costly, they also get revenue from Ads. Then whats prob with them? :wall:
They are just rying to take us for a ride. We should do what Gandhi did years ago, just stop subscribing these channels, once people did this in chennai and many channels became free to air there in the CAS areas....So people just do not subscribe to Sports gold/platinum or any a la carte channels...and of course the majority has to do this and see how these channels come down on their knees begging to be included in the packages...free of course....otherwise all the advertisers will also desert them People get united avoid cricket or any sport for sometime...just watch DD / DD Sports (on mute of course)

Some thing has to be done in channel pricing.........i think for this all the DTH service providers should unite on this solution and they should come together in not telecasting those channels because of their price then they automatically reduce the price............

Is this already out.. Or going to happen from december..In that case, I'm already subscribed to ess pack @40 pm.. what will happen to my subscription..If they decide to charge more from me.. I'll kick their a$$e$$...Lets unite guys.. No one buys ess..We all write about it to trai or government agencies.. and make sure Ess and TS are put to shame..This is ridiculous!

Yup.. I agree with u.. Why should we blame ESS. It should be becoz of Tata Sky... but eventually it turned out to be a minor website mistake...
