Ordered the 9 Pro for mom today. Dekhe how bad is their version of Android.

So got the Realme 9 Pro unit today. Overall, it seems like a decent purchase if you can avail the card discount. Pro+ is much better option for slightly more money. LCD display feels weird after using Amoled. Color OS seems fine. Google apps have the Android 12 style layout which feels nice in most places. It comes with 33w charger and USB cable. Basic screen guard is preinstalled. Package also has a transparent TPU case which is very nice except for one major issue… It does not protect two of the three cameras at the back as they are at the same level as the case bump which means that they would get scratched/damaged even when placed on a flat surface. If anyone has any question about this phone, I can probably get the phone to check and answer here. Has decent gesture support. I can lock and unlock phone using double taps. Fingerprint sensor is on the power button. I am quite impressed by its performance. Even face unlock works very well.

I can’t really comment on camera quality though. There should be enough sample photos shared by blogs and youtubers online.

This photo might show the issue with camera and included case I mentioned above.

The ring around the two bigger cameras do not have any additional lip. If third party cases do not add a additional bump around the camera area, this problem would likely exist on those cases as well.

@Sushubh I am thinking of buying this Realme 9 pro plus getting at 17790 by exchanging Asus Zenfone max pro m1. I don’t do gaming just want a good phone with screen and camera and network coverage. I watch Amazon prime, YouTube I do media consumption a bit. I know there are good ips display phones but after using realme x2 I can’t use that. So what do you say please share your experience.

ah. i have no idea about pro+ edition. but should be fine i suppose. i am quite happy with the performance of the pro variant. pro+ should be better than that.

@Sushubh it has mediatek 920 processor all the phon I have used till now has Qualcomm so do you know how are these processors
