Just noticed that they are running a survey to get input for the 'next generation realme pad'.

android 12 seems to have broken intent linking to web pages inside native apps. had to use google lens to fetch the dead url.

I was thinking of replacing my old iPad with the Mi Pad 5 but looks like it might go the same way as well

I had the first mi pad. Lasted 5+ years till the battery died out and I couldn't get a replacement. Is the 5th iteration available here. As far as I remember o ly ver 2 came & flopped after that no more iteration were brought here.

Why not Samsung?
Samsung S6 Lite LTE which I got for my Son's online school is going good after 1.5 years. It may get Android 12 as well in next 3-4 months, and so far its gets Quarterly security updates regularly.
Of course with Samsung, we get One UI, which some may not like.

It’s more expensive. Tab S7 is around £500 (50,000) here. Mi Pad 5 is around half the price

This may be an unpopular opinion here. But my iPad Air 2 from 2014 is still getting latest iOS updates even after 7 years. Can’t believe I used it for 7 frikkin years. It’s crystal clear what my next tablet is gonna be. I missed Xmas sale of iPad 2021 for 29k on Amazon.

If Apple provided proper Mac OS in their pro M1 iPads, I would have definitely gone for it
