Airtel is insisting my Huawei HG8145V5 needs to be replaced. And thus I am on a lookout for another ONU. I need a router which can be bridged and hooked up to my pfsense router. Also, i want to use VOIP/sip with my own sip phone.

Any routers to avoid which have a hidden webui?

Thanks

Go for Sercomm AOT-4221SR . You can setup bridge mode without any help on your own on this particular device.
Avoid getting the dragonpath and ZyXEL one, they are pretty much locked.

It is offered currently. Got it 2 months back from airtel. Availability depends on the stock present in your city.

Hi guys, my Sercomm AOT-4221SR seems to be locked, I tried putting it on bridge mode using the steps on --dead video-- but seems like my options are greyed out, has anyone managed to use it on bridge mode using a different router? If yes, are you willing to share how you did it?

Hi rajat, I tried adding a new interface and seems like the Add button is greyed out for me, how do you put Sercomm AOT-4221SR into bridge mode, can you tell me the steps please.

@chint456 You can use this chrome extension to enable all disbled inputs:

Once it's installed and you are on the page where fields are greyed out, just move your mouse to top right corner of the browser window and you will see a button called "Enable All" clicking that enables all disabled input

@connection01 Have you successfully enabled bridge mode on your Sercomm AOT-4221SR using above chrome extension?
I'm a noob and a step by step guide is appreciated.

I recently got airtel extreme fiber connection and now want create a mesh using Deco X60 in my house. Planning on making on the Deco x60 as main router and rest as AP by using wired backhaul.

TIA.
