I tried a G3v1 at my in laws and it properly showed VLAN as 100. Different city , different OLT and i am also sure a G7 would work here too.

G7 works with airtel people having issues had ALCL olts in their areas these have a issue with vlan translation, but in that case also it will work if a perosn is able to find the correct vlan by scanning

Hey folks - quick question

since there is discussion about Bridge mode, I want to clarify how to confirm if my setup is in Bridge mode

Airtel ONT : Huawei HG8145V5
(never called airtel to enable bridge mode)

My Router - Asus AX1800HP

I have added new WAN connection via IPoE and enabled Bridge WAN on my ONT

On my Asus router in WAN connection type I have selected Static IP and added Airtel static IP details without any username or password, but everything works, I am able to connect to internet and Asus router WAN IP shows my airtel Static IP

So are my settings correct for enabling bridge mode? since many are talking about PPoE dialing but mine is IPoE?
