and a crazy workaround is to install a browser extension that fixes CORS. this one is for chrome:

Cross Domain will help you to deal with cross domain - CORS problem. This is tool helpful when face with cross domain issue.

But what about mobile app ? The same happens with mobile also

videos load pretty smoothly for me on the reddit app. so hard to say.

old.reddit.com loads like i am on dialup lol. reddit.com loads slightly better but that's probably because of the modern framework they are using which appears to be loading smoothly.

For me both Old & new Reddit pages working fast & fine on excitel.
