So, when I run a DPI circumvention program like Green-Tunnel or GoodByeDPI I'm able to open reddit.com.
Sending TCP RST packets is one most common methods of blocking web pages tho 🤔
But why it works on BSNL and NextDNS and it doesn't work on Google/Cloudflare DNS is strange. Some middlebox misconfiguration 🤷‍♂️

People using Firefox or variants can open Reddit by changing Network Settings in the browser to use DoH and provider as NextDNS. This is a temporary way for it to work without changing dns for whole network.

@CHOPSHOT Any change used to stick for me on router, no issues. But I preferred changing in Windows network settings. Or using apps like YogaDNS, Stubby, etc

@abbyck, So without using DPI circumvention you're not able to open reddit.com with 61.1.1.1?

@sloj By change I only meant the default password, the DNS changes stick for me so no issues there, it's the default log in password (for 192.168.1.1) that reverts to the default Syrotech password after a few days.

I see several TCP RST packet getting sent from some middlebox right after Client Hello. But 199.232.253.140 is a fastly address 🤔

Nope. Only in some regions. Mine isn't remotely managed. I can do whatever I want with it, change any setting, password, etc and it will stay.
