Reddit Updates

Old.reddit.com seems to work still. The new interface was quite annoying. And from what I have seen, the new new interface is worse if you like to read threads with tons of comments 😒

Nothing changed, at least for me. Now both reddit.com and new.reddit.com load to the same mix between new and old. old.reddit.com loads to the old UI as it should. The fully new UI is worse.

Huh, weird behavior here. new.reddit.com loads the old one (black/grey).

Yeah they have been rolling it out in batches for logged in users. Guests have been seeing the new new ui for a long time now from my understanding.

My reddit usage has already reduced after realising randia is becoming full of assholes so I just stick to movie and television related subreddits 🥸

We’re writing to let you know that we’ve updated Reddit’s Privacy Policy and User Agreement. These changes clarify how Reddit uses your data. While we encourage you to review the updates in full, here are the key changes we’ve made:
We’ve added a new introductory TL;DR section to our Privacy Policy to better explain our approach to privacy.
We’ve made the Privacy Policy easier to navigate, with a new table of contents and linking between key language in our introduction and the relevant policy sections.
We made small updates throughout our Privacy Policy to make it clearer and more specific.
We updated language in both our Privacy Policy and User Agreement to better reflect our current products, such as the Reddit Contributor Program.
We’ve included some additional information about our service in our User Agreement, as required by the European Union Digital Services Act (DSA).

I guess the AI deal and the upcoming IPO required this.
