For our first episode of Formative, we sat down with filmmaker and startup founder Casey Neistat to discover what pivotal moment in his life drove him to the success he has today.
Casey Neistat was kicked out of his family’s house at 15, became a father at 17 and decided to move to New York City by age 19. After discovering video editing when the first iMac was released in 1998, Casey vowed never to pursue an average job or average life, reveling in the self-expression that editing video gave him. Today, Casey has over 1.5 million subscribers on Youtube and is the co-founder of the rapidly growing social platform Beme.
