It's about the line rate. There are people on this forum who have 16mbps on Airtel. It mostly depends on the distance fron the exchange/DSLAM.Look for attainable line rate or attainable data rate to know the max speed your line is of capable handling.
If Reliance has a 10mbps plan, your line can handle it. Whether they actually offer you such a plan is another story.

I was referring to yashleo21 who had a DSL line. The 12mbps plan is not for DSL, right?
Is there any official dictate on the max length to which the connection can be provided. I am being told 110 mts. Is this correct or just omehing deviced by technical team locally... What is the official word regarding this from Reliance. CC has no idea about this..

nope no one have any idea ...but start from 100+ i guess ........and this is upto local tech team
