But in short it can be used to connect any two devices anywhere on the internet as if it were just a LAN. Latency and performance is lower compared to normal VPNs as connections are directly established between two devices (after a few minutes).

Looks like Jio switched to using private IPs from RFC 1918 (at least partially) instead of using unused large public IP blocks, probably because of AS8003.

Jio as we all know uses NAT for pretty much all their deployments be it 4G or Giga Fibre etc and we usually get assigned an IP address from the 10.0.0.0/8 private IP range. However today when I was just going through my router management UI, I was a bit surprised to see the Jio 4G WAN interface...
