@alekhkhanna i have the same problem with Real debrid too atleast you are getting 100mbps per file in real debrid it's capped to 25mbps per file using a VPN solves the issue so definitely the problems on the jios end
At one point, I had subs for RD, Premiumize and ZbigZ to check which one should I continue with (depending on the speed). Premiumize was maxing the 100 mbps connection, so that's whom I went with. Will recommend (I was using RD for more than a year before switching).

@bigman91 Told ya !

So got in touch with Jio CC today regarding my 199 plan being in queue and now they say I need one of the commerical plans first before using 199 plan since 199 is a data voucher. So I'll have to recharge with chosen commerical plan every month no matter what and that makes the 199 too expensive to use for the limited 7 days. All the BS I heard from other CC turned out to be quality BS as well. WTF !!??
But, in that video he says that he is using 199 plan

@alekhkhanna -
1. BS plans from Jio and BS misinformation spread by their CC.
2. Missing info on plan recharge is also another part of the problem.
3. Now I'm hearing about this 1/10th upload speed crap.
4. The gratitude for free internet I had enjoyed few months is slowly starting to fade.

@Nitin - that video gave lil assurity along with what other CC told me also these days. Today I got in touch with 3 diff CC and they all tell me this. Don't know whom to believe.

Another update: I frequently download from premiumize.me (converts torrents to https). Each download (which gets divided into 16 segments via IDM) is getting capped at 100 mbps (about 12 MBps). I can download multiple files, but each will not go beyond 100 mbps speed (even on Ethernet), though together they will hit about 320 mbps.
Premiumize servers support gigabit speeds, so the issue is somewhere with Jio (I've tried with a friend's Airtel 300 mbps connection and it hits full speeds easily).
And I thought that i was the only person having issue with download speed on jio.

i am on gold plan and on LAN if i do Speedtest on fastdotcom then speed is around 240mbps. But problem starts in real world downloads, tried varioud popular sites but i can get past 30-50mbps speed.
Only peered content is having full speed.

conclusion is that don’t go for high speed plans and stick with 100mbps plan.

Jio engineer came to my house for checking the issue and as I thought he did not carry any equipment with him like optical power check instrument, laptop etc.

Just he did was called backend team and reset the router and said to me that wifi will not be able to give more than 100mbps speed. I told him that all my devices support 866mbps link speed but he was not interested in any of my technical talk. Then he told me if i am getting good speed on fastdotcom then my connection is fine.

I am going to disconnect jio next month when my plan expires. Will move to airtel as i have used it before and was giving full speeds regularly.

@bigman91 i asked the guy from that video on twitter

spoke to a agent in my area in chennai.... he is not aware of any stand alone pack for Rs.199/ he also told me there may be such packs which can be activated once you completely use up the FUP of base plan.
