I really don't know what to say. Right now for me atleast having waited so long, maybe will try recharging for bronze plan at the least and get through next month. Hopefully we get more clarity in the upcoming weeks.

With plans now being visible for @ap99 is there anyone else for whom plans aren't still visible in MyJio app? They aren't still visible for me.

And I thought that i was the only person having issue with download speed on jio.

i am on gold plan and on LAN if i do Speedtest on fastdotcom then speed is around 240mbps. But problem starts in real world downloads, tried varioud popular sites but i can get past 30-50mbps speed.
Only peered content is having full speed.

conclusion is that don’t go for high speed plans and stick with 100mbps plan.

Jio engineer came to my house for checking the issue and as I thought he did not carry any equipment with him like optical power check instrument, laptop etc.

Just he did was called backend team and reset the router and said to me that wifi will not be able to give more than 100mbps speed. I told him that all my devices support 866mbps link speed but he was not interested in any of my technical talk. Then he told me if i am getting good speed on fastdotcom then my connection is fine.

I am going to disconnect jio next month when my plan expires. Will move to airtel as i have used it before and was giving full speeds regularly.
Yup. Only peered content is hitting that speed. Everything else is at 100 mbps.

So, if 199 is an add on plan then instead of taking Gold plan which costs 1533 and gives 750gb I can take Silver plan which gives 400 gb. Use 400gb for 2 weeks. Next 2 weeks do 199 recharge twice which gives 2000gb. Cost for this will come at - 1003+235+235 = 1473. So still cheaper than Gold plan and I can use 2400gb rather than 750 gb. What do you guys think about this ?

That's what I'm gonna do from next recharge onwards. Speeds higher than 100 mbps are a farce.
