Plans are visible for me now. What are my options?
My situation
1. Don't really care about STB
2. Need Data, at least 800 GB per month.

Edit:
Airtel - not feasible in my area.
BSNL - Same story or they do not bother with providing a new connection.
Local ISP - Very high installation charges, no decent plans, unknown reliability.
What were you using before JioFiber?

Same with me.
MTNL ADSL broadband, 8 Mbps:ROFLMAO:
I could go back to that.
But after using 100 Mbps for 8 months, it will be very very difficult to go back to 8 Mbps.

@Lobogris yes i am on gold plan and on international servers i am getting maximum 25mbps download speed to london and Singapore.
for usa servers its just 5-10mbps. Even servers in india on Speedtest are hovering between 20-80mbps and not more than that.

following are the two servers that are giving me full 240mbps speed:
1. Den broadband- delhi server
2. Railtel - mumbai

I raised the complaint to jio but they said that if speed is good on fastdotcom then it is fine. I checked on fastdotcom and it was 240mbps.
So conclusion is that jio fiber is only giving full speed on peered servers
Use LAN wire.

Update on speeds:

I upped the maximum connection number on IDM to 32 i.e. every file is split into 32 parts and downloaded.
Connected via LAN. That pushed the max downloading speed to about 28 MBps.
Started downloading another file, and that maxed the rest of the bandwidth i.e about 27-28 MBps.
Combined, I was hitting 55-58 MBps (440-460 Mbps) of the 500 Mbps connection.
I tried a 3rd file, but the numbers didn't move up. So looks like the loss margin is about 10% i.e. 500 mbps will give about 450 mbps, which is not the best since it's FTTH and LAN.

Lot of things depend on downloading server, most of servers are outside, especially in Europe. Ftom there you wont able to get good download speed.

Also the server itself restrict download speed... even if you got 1000 mbps connection in europe, and you downling a game in steam, you wont able to get download speed above 100 mbps, i checked it several time on VM/Instances based on european servers.

This is has nothing to do with FTTH or not, thats how internet work. And FTTH is more about reliability and robustness of internet connections, like ping spikes, latency and ping.

Some people here confuse in latency and ping, latency and ping spikes are fine in Jio. The main thing which is letdown is ping.

Premiumize let's you choose your download server location. They've more than 20 locations to choose from apart from the default Cloudfare server.
You can do a speed test with all of the them and choose which one to use.
For me, the Singapore servers give the best bandwidth. And as I said, increasing the number of threads increases download speeds. IDM has a limit of 32, which hits 220 Mbps or so.
