Did you recharged after the 50 GB exhausted on the migration plan?

@MadAxe my preview plans ended on 21st and the app asked me to recharge. So I bought the 199 pack. The app didn't show the migration plan before recharging. I don't know if the migration plan came with the 199 pack, but when I checked the app in the evening, both the 199 and migration plan appeared on the app. I had used about 5 gb of the 1tb and half of the migration plan. My guess is that the migration plan activated a bit later. That's why I had used some of the 1tb data.

I called JioFiber Customer Support Team to enquire about Diamond Plan which is 1Gbps Download / 100 Upload.

Upon talking with him for 10 minute which includes him discussing with his senior.

They are not ready to replace my Single Band Router with Dual Band Router.

They expect me to use Single Band for the 1Gbps Connection.

I asked them for the Disconnection.

Very Unprofessional & Totally Acting Like Third Class ISP.

i dont think they will replace wifi router. it is impossible to replace all the old device with new. as we all adviced earlier. get a decent wifi dual band router in the market and use it. it will be useful even if you switch to other operators and need not run pillar to post with ISP "leased" device.

@gomfi there are two plans of 1 Gbps which are called platinum and titanium. Diamond is 500 mbps

Even if its 250 Mbps, I don't plan to take Single Band. I hope that makes sense.

I actually used "1Gbps Plan" as the Name while talking to him.

If I can afford 1gpbs plan of any ISP, I could be rich enough to afford a highend dedicated router with lot more features than what's provided in dual-band ONU by Jio. It is actually worth spending for a dedicated router and configure it to our wish, than going after Jio to provide certain features. Jio is here to snoop us. It is recommended to buy a dedicated router and use VPN or something else to protect our privacy.
