I think when Jio Postpaid plus comes out with the bundling of mobile+broadband+landline+tv, the rates for that will become more competitive in comparison to these stand alone plans

Okay I have a doubt, if I recharge with a silver plan which has a validity of 30 days however I use up the 400 GB data within 15 days, how do I change plans then so that I am not stuck with 1 Mbps speed?
That is the thing, you cannot.
I spent my whole day trying to convince the JioFiber team that what is the use of recharging if the queued plan will get get activated only after the current plan expires.

They can't have queued plan activate automatically after FUP because that would make a lot of people complain because they would lose days (they paid for 30 days internet and only got 15days...maybe they were fine with post FUP 1mbps speed)...only thing jio can do is give "activate now" button for the upcoming plans and give user a fair warning that activating the upcoming plan at this moment would result in losing the days in the current plan.

At last my 199 plan has been activated 72 hours after the day of recharge.
Edit: This proves that 199 is a standalone plan as i do not have a base plan and i recharged after my 50 GB quota of migration plan exhausted.
The Jio CC is selling BS that "Your plan will get activated only after your current plan expires"
My Migration was supposed to expire on 28 Dec but they activated my 199 plan when i kept pestering them on Twitter for days.
