jwalaheri market, no pan card required. just one address/ID proof original and photocopy,and one photograph.

make sure that your photo in the photo copy is clear. they don't accept dark copies.

It apparently has to be done by MS themselves by updating firmware or pushing/enabling the VoLTE capability which so far has not been done.

Thats right. My Lumia 830 also did not display 4G option earlier. Later 4G was enabled by firmware update. 830 along with all other X30 models got 4G update. But they dont support 2300 MHz. Lumia X50 series which is latest, supports 2300 MHz as well.

Volcano619 did. I tried doing it on iPhone today, but the phone dialler closes connection immediately. Will try it on Samsung.

Are you facing any activation issues ?
