@Dhiraj , I`m yet to receive the activation message , applied on sunday morning . Going to use it in Nexus 5X.

@saurabh OMG that line , but Jio twitter keep saying its for Samsung and LG or LYf phones only .

If the sim is not activated , i wont be getting signal or range on my mobile also ? using the Nexus 5x
 
@Julesbgoes I had a chat with RJIO employee yesterday as per him offer is available on all 4G phones but to control huge rush at stores they haven't informed all stores yet. They are doing in phased manner that's why some stores are offering SIM on all 4G phones and some on only Samy and LG.

Note that the 550 does not support 2300 only a few bands, the info is available on the official MS specs page, just clarifying.

I got two sims on Sunday evening, received a msg on one sim that they have received the order, but still awaiting the 2nd msg regarding activation, till then no signal.

I got the televerification message and even get the signal but when I call 1977, call ends immediately. I am doing this on iPhone 6.

I could not get any Samsung phone to activate it. So I am now stuck. Do I have to do any apn settings or something to call ?
 
Ive got a friend who owns a Samsung j5 and he had tried generating the code unofficially but never availed the offer. When he clicks on get jio sim , he still sees that old code.

Should I activate my sim using his phone ? My only fear is that there could be a mismatch as I was issued the sim under "any 4g phone" offer , whereas his phone is officially on offer but with a expired code.

Would appreciate if someone could provide guidance ? Thanks
 
the dude did not accept the documents yaar saying picture saaf nahi hai :\ now will have to try with passport again tomorrow.

Store was empty no lines whats so ever,
