Will be fun...if TRAI actually increases the IUC and implement something from next year...
Assuming Jio will launch feature phone and gets subscriber base of 200Million before any increase in IUC....AVOID may be at receiving end as well.....
Personally I never understand why IUC needs to be charged in India. it is as good as creating roadblocks for new operator.
Indian Customers have to do minimum recharge of 200 every 6 months, one cant have a number used just for incoming
In a sense even for Incoming one has to do bare minimum recharges just to keep the number active.
Operator with more user will always be getting + amount from other operators( real reason behind Airtel and Vodafone/Idea asking the same)

Jio is making other operators to work as they have to. Since last 5-10 years no operator is bringing new technology, just upgrading from last to new generation when new becomes old fashion. Atleast Jio is doing something good. This is time for Airtel to update things not upgrade.
I know that Jio has made competition sweat but I have been having problems with my jio connection for past 2 weeks . Data is fine but call quality has dropped and I can't hear the callers voice even though I am perfectly audible to them. This is more in case of vodafone numbers and other networks are still better.

If IUC will be removed, then every operator will demand for approx 200 rs (other than topup) recharge per month like JIO(149)

Vodafone networks sucks in Delhi. Don't understand why people uses them. Even is Idea is somewhat better than voda in Delhi.
Why per month?? You have pay as you use plans as well...even with Jio one can still top up and use as per base plan
