is there a way or something to connect JioFi to a router ? as my PC has no WiFI

i have their old jiofi device and if i connect it through usb port then it automatically connected in usb tethering mode.

You can use it without the battery as long as it is connected to something via USB. It tethers over USB using NDIS so if you can tether an Android phone to your computer/router then this will tether.

There wouldn't be any either way. The charging microcontroller in the battery is probably more powerful than the computer used to take Apollo 11 to the moon.

these devices are usually mini computers running linux so they also have a processor, ram and disk storage for firmware installation and upgrades.
