I have not been able to get it to connect to 1800mhz. 850mhz is very strong near me.


I guess 2300mhz is crowded near you? 850mhz is also giving me 10mbps too.
 
Why are people going mad for Jiofi, anyways..
Of topic, Do anyone know how to lock band on phones other than mtk chipset ones.
I'm not getting Band 40 even outside of my home, previously i was getting Band 40 but now there is very poor reception of even Band 5 happening here.

If I'm not wrong QPST thing people use to activate additional LTE bands on SD phones?
But i didn't find any info on disabling band on SD phones.
 
I would recommend against using QPST,many of the newer phones do not support QPST for some reason..
 
1800Mhz might not be available in your area. Jio does not have license to use 1800Mhz in J&K, Bihar/Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh and another state or two, I believe.

Guys , Need help ! How to get good speed in Video stream websites ? (Used proxy extension but for no help ) and out of nowhere speed increased to 6MBps( Yes above 50mbps ) but only while downloading, Video stream at 240p from youtube is buffering a lot.
