And it's insane how Hotstar shrinks a 1hr 8 minutes episode into a 59 minute one by speeding up the framerate. I had to check to see if they were cutting out anything. Turns out they didn't.

I have checked many titles, none it says UHD, HDR, Dolby Vision on LG.
Their app store sucks, to be honest.

LG TV's inbuilt/native Hotstar spp is only 1080p as of now. No 4K option yet. I raised this a year back, but nothing yet.

Yes thats a bummer for LG tvs. Honestly Hotstar 1080p doesn’t look that bad on lg 4k tv

I have noticed that T20 WC & IPL live matches mostly play at 0.90x speed on Chrome in Windows, due to which the stream constantly falls behind. I have to forward the stream every 5 minutes to go live again. Has anyone else faced the same issue ?
Occasionally the speed remains constant at 1.00.
I use a video speed controller extension. Even if i increase the speed to 1.00x, it automatically goes back to 0.90x after a couple of seconds.
I tried playing live matches after uninstalling the extension, but the stream still kept falling behind.

Nope. Considering Disney is releasing it worldwide on November 12, Hotstar probably thought pause kar lete hai.
