in comparison page, it should also have been mentioned tht DL limit for this UL plan=10GB, whereas its 100GB in airtel and true UL in BSNL/MTNL
The reliance's FUP is clearly a violation of Consumer rights. It looks like they consider consumers as fools. Else what do they mean by saying Unlimited and having a condition at bottom which says your unlimited usage is 10GB. Rather they can say it as You have 10 GB Free for the plan and we do not have any unlimited plans. I believe its time for TRAI to intervene and make a regulation on this. Else someone should move to Consumer Forums/Courts against this. Atleast Airtel's policy of reducing the speed can stand little more but again its quite against the rules.

Most of the companies, in India are ready to implement FUP at some level or the other.Another well known ISP, wants to circumvent the FUP by reducing the plan speed by 50%, which according to TRAI guidelines would be cheating you in the following case.
Take the following scenario, you have a 256 Kbps connection, you reached your Fair Usage level, what this ISP does is it halves your speed and makes ur download speed to 128 Kbps, which according to TRAI is not even broadband, as broadband is defined only as connections beyond 256 Kbps and more.
At least Reliance is not doing that, and clearly mentioning that it will just charge u, not reduce ur speed without your knowledge.
Also, I would hate it if somebody is misusing the Internet so much that I barely get to do a voice chat on a Saturday night with my relative in US. I hope this will keep the super downloader’s and piracy kings under control.

If you don't get to voice chat with your relative, its not the other person's fault who is utilizing their connection. Not everything on the Internet which utilizes the speed and data limits has got to do with piracy. With morons like you around no wonder the ISPs are bravely implementing this lame policy. If the roads start filling up do we snatch people's cars away and force them to carpool or do we try and broaden the roads and make more routes ? How is this unlimited if they charge over a certain limit ? I have no problems with it if they mention 10gb limit and rs. 2 charged beyond 10gb and do not advertise this as unlimited. It is NOT unlimited.

1 of the advantages of airtels FUP over reliance is tht atleast u know what u will be paying for, also, it is deceptice advertising claiming that just abt 1% of usage(that too without counting upload)(0.375 MBps *30 days) is unlimited, compared to this airtels 50% is much better
