Problem is, Admin alone handling the headaches(as i noticed till date), he should appoint some mods from old and reliable members, who can keep login every few hours and check+approve new posts before they reflect to the board. Maintaining the forum upto the level is absolute pain for admins/mods. Spammers are all around, you have to handle them, you cant get rid of those freaky peoples.

i have active mods on the forum but they only respond to the reported posts.

i manage the moderated posts and i only do that once every couple of hours.

from what i see the spam filters are working rather nicely blocking every piece of shit that is being thrown at the forum.

i cannot really find an option to hide them from the various views. too bad for that.

as for manually approving new members? if i was to signup on a forum where my account creation required approval from a moderator, i would not really visit that forum again.

i apply the rules on this forum that meets my own level of expectations as a fellow member.

of course it is annoying to see the thread titles of spammy threads. i can understand that part of the problem. but i do believe that it is better than opening up a thread and seeing pornographic gif files.

i found it very annoying that i could not post on several popular boards just because the registration was invite only.

facebook and twitter are already killing traffic on the forum. people complain here that registration is tough and takes too much time. and you expect me to enable moderation of new accounts!

trust me, i am not doing a favor to people by letting them becoming a member of this forum. and i do not plan to make registration a more complicated process. in fact, i wait for the day vBulletin would allow me to allow registration using google accounts, twitter accounts, and other popular ways in addition to facebook (which i think is a pretty crappy choice).

Nothing special I found on that board even indiabroadbandforum is full of shit and craps. People are just asking for help all the time.
But I must say that this forum got repo among all. May be because of Hayai but other sections have also good developed. Apart from this, I do not know but I like to be at here.

This is 100% True! and the users are famous for offtopic. The IBF is still cos of Hayai threads!

The only forum I visit is IBF, although I have been a silent member for a long time.
The reasons are endless,
It's clean and easy to read.
In terms of content, I find something interesting almost every-time I visit.
One must not forget this is broadbandforum.co and does tackle any and all broadband issues rather well.
I think admin has a done an exemplary job in handling the forum.

Reliance has very Good Fiber network In India and yet they don't offer?
I have check about fiber network's of Every company today found out Airtel Fiber rollout is about to Finish and BSNL has already done!
