oh ok. if u like command line u can use lftp or ncftp or plain ftp as well. if u use KDE u can simply use ftp://user@server inside konqueror and copy-paste

lftp supports many types of file transfer, just learnt abt it a month back and has already become my favourite.

heh i like the feel of a regular FTP manager. i used filezilla on winos so its easy for me to use it on linux as well.

Thats a good thing about Apps like Firefox and filezilla, they make OS irrelevant

yup. opera, firefox, gaim all behave in almost the same fashion... so its hard to believe sometimes that i am on a totally different OS altogether. open office on the other hand is a pain.
