@ACT team,
Please do not let my message project the view that we are disappointed in you. Rather it shows our eagerness towards your service availability.
I reside in LB Shastri Nagar and I call up your team atleast once every 2 months (for the last 18 months) to check for service availability. I have been a loyal customer of Airtel for 9 years. I had also taken up Hathway and Tikona, at the same time, to evaluate their service (stability, reliability, customer support etc.). I did this exercise during mid 2016. I got to admit that Hathway and Tikona have come a long way in improving their overall service delivery (compared against their own benchmarks basis my past relationship with them in 2014). Airtel on the other hand have consistently deteriorated on all aspects. The mere fact am calling out to an ISP shows my loss of confidence in them. In eithercase, the existing service providers would suffice for a below average internet user who might limit internet usage for maybe casual browsing.
However, with a majority of companies now encouraging remote work, we have a very good size of the population, within my area, who rely on the internet for real-time collaboration. As such the existing service providers in my area are simply not able to meet the demands especially on reliability. (Although I have a huge list of woes against Airtel, am forcing to limit myself to the subject at hand.)
You are one of the ISP's in Bangalore who has expanded rapidly. The rate of your expansion is proof enough of the quality of service. I have also evaluated your customer support and it is fair for me to say that the experience has been reassuring (very similar to the glory days of Airtel). All representatives took ownership of the cases and followed through. Feedback from my peers using your service has been positive too. Calls on Whatsapp, Skype, online meetings,
VPN etc. have been more consistent on quality and bandwidth (no jitter, latency or disconnects) when I compare against the providers in my area. This is based on 3 month usage in areas such as HSR, Thippasandra, Hoodi and Murugeshpalya.
Therefore it is not out of sheer randomness we reach out to you with a request to provide your service. It is our belief that you are better as a Provider for now. When your service is already available to users on the borders of our ward, we can only hope that you heed to our request.
You can independently assess/evaluate the
business case of provisioning in our area and am sure it will turn out positive. Try posting some fliers and you'll see the amount of calls. ;-)
Alternatively, please let us know if we, as your potential prospects, can support in this regard. Do you need a minimal number of committed users?
This is an open forum and I have shared my thoughts in the best of intentions from an end user perspective. I hope you, the ACT team, would recipricate by sharing your plan to cover LB Shastri Nagar under your portfolio of services - more specifically broadband.
Thank you for reading!
