If fake apps created problems then i dont think we will get bbm anytime soon. Because again 7-8 fake apps are present in play store

Read their post again. Leaked app and not the fake one caused issues. Fake ones are not even BB's problem. They are Google's problem to sort. Ideally I don't understand can't they blacklist few words for the new apps being published. They really need to work on their approval process.

It's idiocy. They just needed to block the leaked version and release the official version asap.

None. Yet. I guess we move on with our lives :-P

Could be any reason. Maybe the test build was not optimized enough so it was causing excessive load on their system. You experiment a lot in test builds and they are not really designed to be used by 1 million users.

A techie friend theorizes that the leaked build was ported to BB phones and could be used without activating costly BB data internet packs!

Anyhow, Android and iOS won't be implementing BIS and BES plans. This would have already been taken care by BlackBerry.
