They may need numbers in terms of devices in that case, right?

If I buy a phone and found BBM(Bahot Bakwaas Messenger) as a pre-installed one, first thing I will have to do is to make it rooted and uninstall it, no matter my warranty goes over...

Nope. I like Hangouts. Not everyone likes it as well.

Right. I can understand people saying not that good or I prefer something else. But this was as if it is coming preinstalled with a virus and I would do anything to get rid of it kind of reaction.

If you don't use it, it's still running in background eating resources.Android comes with Hangouts already. So you end up getting multiple apps with the same purpose.

True that. i just realised I am having 6 messengers installed. Need atleast 3 running in any case

Hehe. This is why I am on Hangouts. If you are on Android, you have the app to contact me. Period.

I like hangouts too.... And its improving with every single update...

I too have had to use hangouts ..but it becomes messy if there are lot of contacts
