For the info channel aath or set aath is available only on airtel digital tv.but i think that it will be added on other platforms also.since aath has now been purchased by Sony and has now become a channel under setdiscovery one alliance it will be available to all dth providers in due time.coz all sony channels r being carried by all dth providers.but sangeet bangla must be added as it is the only bengali music channel and it rocks.dinbhor hullor!

Yes we want Sangeet Bangla nad aath Channel as early as possible. because Sangeet Bangla is only Bengali music channel and aath is the only one movie channel. Others available bengali basically concentrated in soap/serials, not movie and music.

@ghatoch,I do understand that getting the STB repaired or exchanged might solve the problem but that would come with a hefty fee since my STB is out of warranty now. And making those stupid CCs understanding my prob will take the shit out of me. Those stupid asses at Dish TV do not even know the satellite details of Dish TV, so forget about getting help from them.@ jayan & pramitr,I am too waiting for Sony Aath and Sangeet Bangla. Sony Aath would be added sooner or later as it is now a part of One Alliance. As for Sangeet Bangla, I think it was once in Reliance Big TV, not sure if its there now. If they really are on the Big TV platform, they might want to expand to other DTHs in due time..!

Ltd. And the Sangeet Bangla is the channel of same company.(Sangeet Bangla - India's No. 1 Bangla Music Channel)

I have already mailed to customercare Dish TV and they reply

This is in reference to your e-mail regarding addition of Bengali channels on dishtv platform.
This is to convey that currently below given channels are not available on dishtv platform. However, the negotiations are going on with the respective service providers, as soon as they get through we will announce the same to all our subscribers through channel 999.

what he is saying that both the channels are from Same company so their might be a possibility that sangeet bangla will soon available on all DTH.

Let me correct you Jayan. Dish TV did not add Music India. It was DD Direct Plus that added Music India and we users are enjoying that ch..!

How does it matter, as a dishtv customer you will be able to get Music India channel throuth your dishtv only and also you won't need any other connection for that. Infact its good that all the channel of DD direct plus are available on Dishtv.
