LG and Sony are the strongest choices this time around. Why? Because both of them are extremely loyal to the Android ecosystem. They are not launching Windows Phone based devices. They have not been given any Nexus or Google supported project until now. HTC has the Nexus OneSamsung has the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus Motorola has the Xoom Tablet PCAsus has the Nexus 7 Tablet PCof course. this thread is based on the latest rumor.

Yes.. We have had 3 or even 5 devices being mentioned in some blogs(This was before Nexus 7 Tab, I think).. If that is the case then it would make sense for all these devices to be happening - Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2, HTC 5" , Sony & LG optimus G & the Asus Tab which was released..Motorola Xoom was not a Nexus brand as such, right???

it was not branded nexus but it came loaded with stock android builds. and google managed the software updates. it was a google supported product. i guess at that time google was not clear whether to use nexus branding for tablets as well. they changed their stance with nexus 7. Galaxy nexus was of course also weird. it had two variants. one was supported by samsung and the other was supported by google. so it was also not a 'pure' nexus branded device.

lol. again making no sense. Apple is catching up with google. i do not see key lime pie arrive in the coming weeks. that is another confusing matter. a new nexus device is usually launched along with a new version of android. so what's going on really!

from what i remember nexus one had a memory slot. it came with a 4GB card.

Oops. Yes my bad. It did have a card slot.
