Got it for my dad and used it for a few days myself. No heating issues and good battery life: SOT 7-8 hrs with wifi/mobile data & location on all the time. Buttery smooth performance and no issues on the connectivity front. Only issue is limited accessories. IP rating isn't the best but it is IP52 rated(splash resistant).

iPhones are terribly limiting, yes you do get a stable operating system and a consistent performance but some of the things are utter stupid. For instance, on Android if I type the initial four digits of any phone number, I start getting suggestions. On iOS, until and unless you type the full number, it wouldn't suggest you anything. Once you have typed in the complete phone number then only it will display who the number belongs to. There are tonnes of things I can mention that are simply annoying to say the least, but I can certainly say that the cameras are reliable and so far I have not experienced any issues whatsoever with any applications. Applications hardly ever misbehave except for Instagram (it's designed to be a shitty app, drains the battery even if you disable background refresh).

I still wouldn't buy an iPhone at the Indian pricing. It's best to get it imported as long as the global warranty is applicable. Getting stuck in the Apple ecosystem is a real thing, once you get a MacBook and an iPhone, you would not want to use anything else.

Last night, I was at the railway station when my Airtel sim started showing no service as I was trying to book a cab. I started looking for Network Selection option in the settings and couldn’t find it. I actually thought I’m at fault as it must be somewhere, but I’m unable to locate.

Had to restart the phone only to find that I was looking at the right place, the damn option wasn’t where it was supposed to be.

Talk about consistency.

I mean, this has never happened with me on Android. I was literally standing on the road around midnight questioning my memory.

S21 fe 5g from usa ( sd888) would support Indian 5g bands ? Any website from where we can check ?
Samsung website is showing barebones info ( maybe I missed something)?
