i consider this to be a good phone for folks who are still considering going for google Galaxy s.

I don't understand with all these superb features why can't they just include a qwerty keyboard in it, what I mean to say is that it's really hard to navigate only through touchscreen, I have the samsung Galaxy ace and it's really hard to type text messages, make phone calls, browse the Internet or even play games sometimes.

Hmm I think the price stated in the article might not be correct... 630$~ Rs28k... I think the sII is available for 30-32k... Not much of of a discount... Maybe if it was 20-23k it would have been a fantastic price...

european prices are typically much higher than US and Indian prices. from the comments in engadget... S2 in that country probably costs a bit more with a contract. indian pricing would be much lower of course... think of it as the cheaper variant of Galaxy s samsung launched in india. what was the name SL? the one that had limited memory and some missing features and it was priced at around 19k?
