If price comes down to Rs 15K, I may consider it.
Which would be better Samsung or HTC Android (like HTC Salsa) with similar spec or this Samsung Omina W at price range of 15K (if price is 15K).
Its available for 15.4k after cashback on sulekha.com

Its now available @ Flipkart for 15200...

@SVK - Planning to buy now - eh? :D

Yes, I would like to buy. But I will wait till WP Tango is released and see what Nokia and others offer :)

Bought Omnia W finally for 14500.

My first impression about using it is "awesome" :)

Would explore more and update here :)

First short review of my Samsung Omnia W:Positives -- Display quality excellent.- Touch response is very good as well (Most of my friends who already have touchscreen phone said that Omnia W has best touch screen response).- Network coverage is ok, Phone displays some signal in areas in which my Nokia N95 had no signal at all (e.g. lift) for Vodafone.- Phone dimension (size and weight) is as per my expectation, it fits well in my hand as well as pocket.- Battery lasts almost 2 days, though my usage is moderate, where I use for calling 30 min, games 30 min, music 30 min, and I switch off internet at night.- Battery saver feature which displays time remaining and also switch-off Bluetooth, WiFi, Internet after battery reaches certain level.- Good sync with Facebook (options for Linkedin, Twitter also available, but I didnt try that). Apps also available for this Social Networks services.- Contacts are sync with Windows Live account and can be updated online, which are automatically updated in phone while phone is having active internet connection.- Internet Speed is good (100~300 Kbps on Idea 2G Network)- WiFi hotspot for Internet sharing.- MS Office support to view/edit MS documents.- Front Camera for Video Calling. Samsung has provided app for Video Calling over 3G.- Push email works very well for Gmail and Hotmail (I tried so far these 2 only). Support for Micrsoft Exchange account email available as well.Negatives -- No Bluetooth file transfer (well known negative point of WP7)- No option to send MS documents like Word, Excel, Ppt by USB or Zune. Only option is to send by email or Skydrive- Angry birds game is not free (I guess its free in Android and iOS).Neutral -- Camera quality is ok, neither good, nor bad.- Apps content is also ok, so far I found most of apps which I use.I will keep adding more points as I discover them :)

Good choice! But WP8 is just around the corner? you could have waited more but still, WP is smart choice.. simple and uncluttered!
