Hello all,I have been an avid reader of threads and comments on this website for a long time, which are very helpful to people like us. Thank you to all the experts online here!However, now I have a problem myself. I recently took my Sun Direct receiver (Samsung) outside India. It was switched off for a good one month period. When I connected the receiver, it started with the old menus and software (red and black colored theme) and within seconds, even on the FTA channels like Doordarshan, a full screen message in various languages flashed saying your subscription is over and asked me to call a 1800-XXXX something number. I called up the call center and asked them to refresh the signal. Within half hour the problem was resolved and message didn't appear again. But now another problem has started :1. Software is not updating on its own to the new blue color theme, which is much much faster as well.2. The receiver hangs after a few seconds of booting. Last channel that receiver was on before the receiver hangs keeps running without any problem and no buttons on the remote control work. The only way to resolve this issue is to remove the power cord and do a hardboot. But again, even after I restart the receiver, it does the same thing all over again, this time it hangs on a another channel few seconds after reboot, whether it is FTA or subscribed one.I tried to explain the problem to call center guys on an international call and they seem to have no idea about it at all. Infact, I had great difficulty in making them understand that I was on Samsung's old software which didn't have an option in Setup screen to update the software. Eventually, they would ask me to bring it back to the distributor to resolve the problem, which again I cannot as I live outside India. I have 3 receivers for me here for 3 different rooms. First receiver got somehow succesfully upgraded to the new software as it was connected from day one. It works like a dream without any problem. However the other two that were disconnected when the new software upgrades were rolled out are now hanging.Any expert help would be highly appreciated.Regards,Ray
